The award is annually given by the Federal President and is endowed with 250,000 euros. The decision to receive the 2017 Future Prize will be announced in Berlin on Wednesday, November the 29th, 2017. The price is awarded for outstanding technical, engineering and scientific achievements.
Sami Haddadin and dr. med. (Univ. Debrecen) Simon Haddadin and Dipl.-Inf. (FH) Sven Parusel from the Munich company Franka Emika are nominated for the development of robotic assistance systems, developed in cooperation with Franka Emika.
